The School For Good And Evil was written by Soman Chainani.

This year, Sophie wants to be kidnapped to join the School for Good to become the heroine of her own fairytale because everyone knows that she has the purest soul in the whole village. On the other side, Agatha definetly belongs in the School for Evil where she will be trained to be a villain of a fairytale. But when both Sophie and Agatha get kidnapped, Agatha joins the School for Good and Sophie joins the School for Evil. The friends soon realize, that the only way out of a fairytale is to live through it.
This book kills so many stereotypes and it was actually written for children and that´s one of the reasons why I loved it. I mean, imagine little children reading it and realizing that just because you look a certain way people should never put you in a category because there´s a lot more to your character than just how you look. Also, this book is so heavy on friendship and badass characters and did I mention how much I love middle grade?
This book will change your opinion on what is “good” and what is “evil” so be prepared to love it.
